What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and collaborate on gameplay features, systems, and tools within proprietary and commercial game engines.
• Work across multiple areas of development including gameplay, systems, tools, or engine-level code based on project needs.
• Use strong debugging and analytical skills to investigate and resolve complex technical issues across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and product leads to deliver practical, player-focused technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards of code quality.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing games using modern game engines.
• Proficiency in C++ or similar languages with solid mathematical fundamentals.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Cardiff, UK (3 days onsite).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Nice to have

• Experience developing for current-generation consoles (Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, or Switch).
• Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced developers.
• Experience collaborating with internal or external partners to gather feedback and provide technical input.
