TL;DR

HSE Business Partner (Manufacturing): Partnering with operational leaders to embed a proactive safety and wellbeing culture across manufacturing sites with an accent on WHS legislation and risk management. Focus on incident investigation, injury management, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Location: Based in Wodonga, Australia. Must have current and valid Australian working rights (Sponsorship not available)

What you will do

  • Lead incident investigations with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention to reduce future risks.
  • Manage safety systems and documentation to ensure audit-readiness and site-level compliance.
  • Develop and deliver wellbeing initiatives, WHS committee support, and training plans.
  • Coordinate injury management and Workers Compensation processes, including return-to-work planning.
  • Analyze safety performance data to inform site strategies and advise leaders on risk controls.
  • Build partnerships across teams to drive operational ownership and a positive safety culture.

Requirements

  • Must have current and valid Australian working rights (Sponsorship is not available).
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Qualifications in Safety, Engineering, or a related field (Diploma, Degree, or Graduate Certificate).
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and compliance.
  • Experience in incident investigation and return-to-work coordination.
