What you will do

• Design and operate test fixtures and equipment for hardware acceptance tests.
• Collaborate with FPGA, firmware, and software engineers on the bring-up, verification, and debug of control system hardware.
• Develop automated test procedures, characterization, and validation programs for electronic components.
• Analyze test data and interpret datasheets to ensure hardware performance.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in RF hardware testing, validation, or integration.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
• Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Python) for instrument control and data acquisition.
• Strong skills in reading schematics and analytical problem-solving.
• Must be able to work on-site in Boulder, Colorado.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with RF design concepts and/or software-defined radio (SDR).
• Experience with MicroTCA, PXIe, or similar pluggable instrument standards.
