Salary: $95 – $118 per hour (W2)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve system outages for RF ground systems.
• Collect diagnostic data and implement workarounds to restore system operation.
• Utilize spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain schematics, block diagrams, and system Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Conduct design performance and cost trade-off studies for proposed engineering changes.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations for new operational concepts and architecture.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in RF ground systems for satellite communications.
• Proficiency with Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
• Ability to work at heights and successfully complete safety training for antenna/tower work.

Nice to have

• Experience upgrading hardware supported by Windows and Linux based systems.
• Experience collaborating with vendors for timely repair and tracking of critical operational hardware.
