What you will do

• Diagnose maintenance problems and repair industrial processing equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform and document line checks and preventative maintenance (PM), including lubrication and equipment inspection.
• Install and set up equipment such as rubber and mesh belt conveyors, pumps, valves, and gearboxes.
• Perform structurally sound welds and cutting using appropriate welding equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisory personnel to optimize plant production and minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety programs and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Boardman, OR.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for technical manuals and work logs.
• Knowledge of materials including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
• Physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Capacity to complete the Powered Industrial Truck Training Program.
