What you will do

• Own the roadmap and operating model for Platform Engineering, managing cross-team dependencies and division-level priorities.
• Lead and develop a team of Software Engineering Managers, coaching them on technical judgment and organizational effectiveness.
• Set engineering standards for framework conventions, reliability targets, and CI/CD health across the organization.
• Drive the AI-native platform strategy, overseeing agent orchestration and tool registries.
• Manage division-level reliability, including SLO definitions and incident response frameworks.
• Partner with the CTO on organizational design, architectural decisions, and headcount planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership.
• At least 2 years of experience managing other managers across multiple teams.
• Technical depth in distributed systems, platform engineering, or reliability engineering.
• Proven track record at a growth-stage B2B SaaS company.
• Experience guiding teams building on LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with product, finance, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Testing Frameworks, Quality Engineering, or Developer Productivity functions.
• History of scaling developer platforms during rapid growth (Series D+).
• Familiarity with CMMS, IoT, or industrial SaaS domains.
