What you will do

• Build and extend custom themes, plugins, and blocks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, integrations, and functionality.
• Optimize sites for Core Web Vitals and overall performance.
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready WordPress implementations.
• Collaborate with account managers and other developers in a remote, async-first environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (React and/or jQuery), HTML, and Sass.
• Experience with WooCommerce and complex plugin ecosystems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with Git-based workflows.
• Must be based in LatAm, South Africa, or Eastern Europe.
• Professional English communication skills for async and client-facing interactions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cloudflare, Nginx, MariaDB/MySQL, and Redis.
• Experience with build tools such as NPM, Gulp, and Webpack.
