What you will do

• Analyze software requirements and design, develop, and test software for modems and ground station tools.
• Code, integrate, and document complex software solutions using computer science and mathematical analysis.
• Research customer design proposals and industry trends to determine technical feasibility.
• Lead the software development life cycle and provide technical guidance to junior employees.
• Collaborate with senior management and external customers to resolve diverse problems of broad scope.
• Identify and implement AI opportunities for continuous innovation and improvement.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Clearance required at time of hire.
• Must be located in or be able to work onsite in Scottsdale, AZ.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, STEM, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges.
• Strong communication skills for securing buy-in on technical concepts and ideas.

Nice to have

• Experience with Communication Protocols and Software Defined Modems.
• Proficiency in Linux, C++, and C.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and Cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Experience with Network Systems.
