What you will do

• Develop and maintain large-scale infrastructure in public cloud environments using a code-first approach.
• Optimize Kubernetes deployments and manage compute capacity at scale.
• Support Hyperforce platform tooling for Commercial and GovCloud deployments, focusing on Day0 and Day2 operations.
• Transform manual processes into automated governance solutions to increase delivery velocity.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams, open-source committers, and architects.

Requirements

• Strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be located in North America.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Exposure to containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and at least one scripting language (Python, Golang, or Shell).
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPC) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development or automate workflows.

Nice to have

• Internship experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK.
• Exposure to security and compliance tooling (IAM, PKI, OPA, Checkov).
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Understanding of on-call concepts and SLI/SLO frameworks.
