What you will do

• Design and build backend services for search, remediation, and quarantine workflows in multi-tenant email environments.
• Develop and deliver features end-to-end in collaboration with Tech Leads, Engineering Managers, and Product Managers.
• Own system reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and production observability.
• Design REST API endpoints for security operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Utilize AI development tools to optimize workflows and increase productivity.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• 3+ years of industry experience in backend development and distributed systems.
• Proven track record of building and operating production components from scratch.
• Experience with distributed teams and proficiency in asynchronous written communication.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and system design.
• Must be eligible to access controlled technology under U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Python, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, and Django.
• Experience with search systems, SOC operational tooling, or SIEM/SOAR integrations.
• Knowledge of email security and authentication standards like DMARC and DKIM.
