What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex features across multiple applications and shared packages.
• Develop and maintain shared UI infrastructure, layout systems, and reusable platform components.
• Build integration layers connecting frontend applications, cloud services, and hardware-aware domain models.
• Optimize reliability, maintainability, and developer velocity within a large monorepo.
• Partner with product, design, cloud, and hardware teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor engineers and establish high standards for quality and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience building production software in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Track record of owning complex frontend or application-platform systems.
• Experience working effectively within a large monorepo or shared codebase.
• Exceptional communication skills for leading technical work across team boundaries.
• Must be based in Salt Lake City, USA for full-time onsite work

Nice to have

• Experience with internal developer tooling, CI/CD workflows, or observability.
• Familiarity with IoT, hardware-integrated software, or control systems.
• Background in improving platform reliability at scale.
