What you will do

• Design and ship end-to-end AI-powered features, taking full ownership of quality, latency, and cost.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs capable of handling real production loads.
• Implement and monitor production observability using metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
• Manage the transition of prompts, retrieval systems, and AI agents from experimental stages to production.
• Critically review code and architectural designs to ensure system integrity.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python with a track record of operating production backends.
• Solid experience with AWS, specifically serverless architectures (Lambda).
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and Postgres.
• Experience with event-driven systems like Kafka and SQS.
• Mandatory experience with Kotlin, Go, or Java, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM-based systems in production, including evaluation, prompts, and agentic workflows.
• Knowledge of data pipelines (e.g., Airflow).
• Experience with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
