What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain optimized, production-grade data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Support end-to-end delivery of AI and advanced analytics solutions from initial PoC through deployment and sustainment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to enable scalable, reliable MLOps and data engineering workflows.
• Apply software engineering best practices including version control, peer code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot complex and ambiguous technical problems, adapting solutions as requirements evolve.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and manage tasks effectively within sprint commitments.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience writing clean, maintainable production code.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering and analytics pipelines in modern data platform environments.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and deployment patterns.
• Experience with Git-based version control and DevOps-oriented development workflows.
• Proven ability to work effectively in an agile delivery model.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Toronto, Ontario.
