What you will do

• Provide virtual emotional, physical, and informational support to expectant parents via video, phone, and text.
• Offer evidence-based education on pregnancy, labor, childbirth options, and postpartum care.
• Assist patients in creating personalized birth plans and provide guidance on the labor and delivery process.
• Teach relaxation techniques, pain management strategies, and labor support measures.
• Collaborate with midwives, nurses, lactation consultants, and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using a virtual support platform.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Doula or L&D RN.
• Certification and training as a birth and/or full-spectrum doula.
• In-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.
• Must be located in California, USA
