What you will do

  • Develop and optimize pricing algorithms and auction mechanisms for the marketplace.
  • Build shared marketplace metrics, automated variance detection, and notification systems.
  • Implement causal modeling and experimentation frameworks to perform analytical investigations.
  • Collaborate with platform and data teams to build ML pipelines and rules engines.
  • Manage systems end-to-end, working across the full TypeScript stack.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering skills combined with a deep interest in marketplace economics and data science.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify drivers of metrics and translate findings into shipped solutions.
  • Experience solving complex architectural problems.
  • Proficiency in a full-stack environment utilizing TypeScript, Node, and React.
  • Must be based in the United States.
