What you will do
- Create and refine previs, postvis, and layout scenes to communicate story, scale, and pacing.
- Build and manage 3D scenes using production assets to establish cinematic sequences.
- Develop cinematic camera work and shot composition aligned with the director’s vision.
- Optimize technical scenes for real-time playback and rendering performance.
- Troubleshoot asset optimization, scale consistency, and camera exports.
- Collaborate with art departments and conduct real-time sessions with clients.
Requirements
- Strong experience in previs, layout, or virtual camera/Volume work within VFX.
- Advanced knowledge of Maya and/or Unreal Engine.
- Solid understanding of cinematography, staging, composition, and editorial pacing.
- Familiarity with production asset formats including Alembic, USD, and FBX.
- Experience with ShotGrid, Perforce, or similar production tracking systems.
- Must be available for hybrid or on-site work in London.
