What you will do

• Own the long-term vision and strategy for retention and churn prevention based on subscriber behavior and commercial goals.
• Lead product strategy for dunning, payment recovery, and proactive retention interventions.
• Define and deliver a customization layer allowing merchants to tailor branding and buyer experiences.
• Own and analyze key KPIs including retention rate, involuntary churn, and incremental revenue.
• Collaborate in a tight trio with engineering and design to ship, instrument, and iterate quickly.
• Align senior stakeholders and Exco around the product roadmap through compelling written narratives.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning commercially critical product areas in payments, billing, or consumer-facing fintech at scale.
• Deep understanding of subscription economics, churn mechanics, and dunning strategies.
• Technical credibility to reason about billing systems and APIs with engineering teams.
• Strong data fluency and the ability to perform end-to-end analysis independently.
• Experience building and shipping in scale-up or startup environments, including zero-to-one work.
• Must be based in the UK, Ireland, or Portugal.
