• Architect and design scalable, high-performance software solutions for fraud and abuse detection.
• Optimize existing systems to resolve bottlenecks and improve scalability and reliability.
• Perform hands-on coding to ensure maintainability, scalability, and high code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to communicate and align on technical concepts.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive constructive changes to enhance team performance.

Requirements

• 6-7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience focusing on scalable system design.
• Proficiency in Go and PHP.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles.
• Location: Must be based in Melbourne, Australia.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with internet fraud/abuse and botting incentive structures.
