What you will do

• Maintain and extend Liquid themes, sections, and blocks across multiple Shopify stores.
• Develop and support interactive Vue.js components embedded in Liquid pages.
• Build and maintain custom Shopify apps and PHP middleware for third-party integrations.
• Diagnose and resolve full-stack bugs from frontend rendering to webhook and middleware errors.
• Plan and deliver new features end-to-end, collaborating directly with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for apps, themes, and middleware.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Shopify development experience with multiple production stores.
• Deep expertise in Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and Shopify data models.
• Practical experience with Shopify Admin/Storefront APIs (REST/GraphQL) and App Bridge.
• Proficiency in Vue.js (2/3), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience maintaining and refactoring legacy PHP code and working with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• English: Proficiency sufficient to document decisions and discuss tradeoffs with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Headless Shopify experience (Hydrogen, Storefront API).
• Experience with TypeScript.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• E-commerce performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).
