Technical Animator (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Technical Animator (Gamedev): Implementing animation-related features and procedural systems for an unannounced project in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED with an accent on blending asset-based features and procedural animation. Focus on developing logic using Blueprints, skeletal mesh rigging, and R&D of new technical animation solutions.

Location: Fully Remote (must be within +/- 2 hours from GMT+1)

Salary: 14 300 - 17 100 PLN gross

What you will do

• Implement animation-related features using built-in engine and game-specific systems.
• Work with asset-based features and procedural animation systems, specifically Control Rig.
• Collaborate across animation, gameplay, and cinematic departments.
• Define and request necessary features from engineering and Automated QA teams.
• Conduct R&D to find and implement new technical animation solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the Game Industry or equivalent.
• Professional experience with interactive animation systems.
• Ability to implement logic using Blueprints.
• Experience with skeletal mesh rigging and skinning in Maya.
• Fluent English.
• Work location within +/- 2 hours from GMT+1.

Nice to have

• Experience in Python or other programming languages.
• Previous experience as a Rigger.
