What you will do

• Develop Python-based testing and automation software tools from the ground up.
• Collaborate with developers to create and maintain state-of-the-art system tests.
• Define, develop, and execute testing plans utilizing deep system knowledge.
• Analyze large, diverse systems and implement robust QA processes and procedures.
• Automate tests on a combination of Linux and Windows server environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in development of product testing, manufacturing, or automation tools.
• Deep understanding of Computer systems and Operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting (Bash).
• Ability to write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Demonstrated experience in Integration, Performance, and Stress testing.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto

Nice to have

• Knowledge of columnar data tools such as Trino, Apache Spark, and DuckDB.
• Knowledge of File Systems (NAS), Block-level Storage, and storage networking protocols.
• Experience with virtualization, cloud, and networking technologies.
• Experience with Jenkins and Git.
• B.Sc./B.A. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
