What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end sanctions screening across Europe, UK, and Asia-Pacific operations.
• Manage vendor performance and serve as the primary point of accountability for an outsourced delivery model.
• Handle complex or sensitive sanctions investigations and manage operational escalations.
• Continuously improve processes, frameworks, and controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and MLRO functions to support audits and policy alignment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in sanctions investigations, screening, or financial crime compliance.
• Strong knowledge of global sanctions regimes, including EU, UN, and UK.
• Experience managing outsourced or third-party operations with a focus on quality outcomes.
• Ability to assess complex cases and document decisions clearly and accurately.
• Familiarity with sanctions screening tools like LexisNexis, World-Check, or Fircosoft.
• English: CV must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience handling sensitive sanctions investigations in-house.
• Background in supporting regulatory examinations or audits.
• Knowledge of open-source intelligence (OSINT) and adverse media screening.
• Certification such as Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS).
• Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
