What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's data and AI platforms.
• Own architectural decisions for data models, including schemas, vector stores, and knowledge bases for LLM use cases.
• Operate feature and embedding pipelines to support ML model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, finance, and data science teams to create AI-ready inputs.
• Implement security, privacy, and data-governance controls for data flowing to and from third-party LLM providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional database development experience, preferably as a Data Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL, specifically in writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Proven experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and experience integrating with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Must be based in Austin, Texas for in-person collaboration.
