What you will do

• Design and develop core backend services, APIs, and microservices to enable secure leveraging of AI models.
• Build scalable frameworks and tools for multi-step agent workflows, including task decomposition and persistent memory.
• Create robust evaluation systems to continuously measure reasoning quality and hallucination rates.
• Architect high-performance serving infrastructure with strict guarantees on latency, throughput, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement comprehensive observability, structured logging, and distributed tracing across all deployed AI models.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to build self-serve infrastructure for AI development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Hands-on experience integrating and orchestrating LLMs and agents.
• Experience building and scaling AI-native systems in production environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco, US.
