Salary: $295k – $380k + Equity

What you will do

• Review and optimize code across training frameworks and adjacent infrastructure.
• Debug complex issues involving ML training systems, GPUs, clusters, and networking.
• Unblock researchers and engineers by resolving broken training jobs and flaky workflows.
• Improve the reliability, maintainability, and usability of the robotics training framework.
• Rapidly solve practical engineering problems to enhance team velocity.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and excellent code review judgment.
• Experience with ML systems, training frameworks, GPUs, or distributed systems.
• Ability to quickly read, debug, and root-cause unfamiliar codebases.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality code with high velocity.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
• Expected in office 5 days per week.
