What you will do

• Integrate and optimize algorithms for real-time traffic participant prediction and behavior planning.
• Measure statistical properties and quality of autonomy predictions and plans.
• Build systems that safely handle nominal and out-of-distribution driving events.
• Evaluate and verify system performance using real-world and simulated data.
• Improve software reliability through continuous integration, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Monitor system performance to ensure implementations remain within resource constraints.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD).
• Fluency in modern C++ and experience with Python.
• Knowledge of probabilistic inference, probability theory, and statistics.
• Experience applying machine learning to classification, regression, and time series forecasting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PyTorch and ONNX.
• Experience with model deployment and optimization.
• Industry experience writing performance-critical, production-quality code.
