What you will do

• Implement programs, processes, and tools to improve design team effectiveness across multiple workstreams.
• Lead operational planning for team-wide rituals, hiring coordination, onboarding, and resource allocation.
• Build scalable systems for seamless collaboration with research, engineering, and product counterparts.
• Oversee asset management and shared design libraries to ensure version control and consistency.
• Manage external vendors and contractors, handling scoping, resourcing, and performance tracking.
• Align OKRs, roadmaps, and delivery milestones with Product and Engineering Operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in design operations roles within high-growth tech environments.
• Proven track record of building 0-1 operational systems across multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep familiarity with the full product development process from early research to delivery and iteration.
• Experience managing shared design tools, assets, and libraries at scale.
• Strong skills in vendor and contractor management to extend team capacity.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, USA
