Salary: $115,700 - $150,500

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity execution for classified programs to manage risk and align with customer requirements.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to ISSO staff.
• Design and implement security policies and processes consistent with DoD, DISA, and RMF requirements.
• Oversee the deployment and validation of security controls across all classified assets.
• Direct risk-based assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response activities.
• Advise engineering teams on secure architecture, system hardening, and compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DISA STIGs.

Requirements

• Active DOD SECRET clearance (with ability to upgrade).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in an ISSM or site leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent military education and training.
• Expertise with authorization package submission tools (e.g., eMASS) and successful ATO/ATC delivery.
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS, Evaluate STIG), endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JSIG, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-37 (RMF), or NIST SP 800-53 frameworks.
