What you will do

• Define and maintain the overarching architectural vision and blueprints for scalable, distributed systems.
• Establish technical standards, coding guidelines, and architectural guardrails across engineering squads.
• Lead the evaluation, prototyping, and selection of modern tools, platforms, and frameworks.
• Translate complex business strategies into viable technical roadmaps in collaboration with Product and Security leads.
• Optimize system performance, latency, and cost-efficiency through architectural reviews and root cause analysis.
• Mentor Tech Leads and Senior Developers to foster a proactive and autonomous engineering culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a dedicated System Architect or Principal Engineer role.
• Deep expertise in DDD, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including Kubernetes and IaC.
• Strong knowledge of relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) databases.
• Proven track record of designing secure systems with OAuth/OIDC, data encryption, and network security.
• Advanced English proficiency (fluent verbal and written communication).

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with CI/CD automation, service meshes (Istio), and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience migrating legacy monoliths using patterns like the Strangler Fig pattern.
• Familiarity with high-scale AI infrastructure pipelines or data streaming tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or TOGAF.
