Application Engineer (Embedded)

What you will do

• Support customer deployments and integrations using hirify.global products
• Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to understand technical requirements
• Troubleshoot software, middleware, networking, and embedded systems issues
• Contribute code, bug fixes, and enhancements to Apex.OS
• Assist with software testing, validation, and system integration activities
• Participate in customer workshops, demos, and technical presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
• Strong foundation in modern C++ programming
• Internship, academic project, or early professional experience with software development
• Familiarity with Linux development environments
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems
• Authorization to work in Germany is required

Nice to have

• Exposure to ROS/ROS 2, DDS, networking, or communication protocols
• Experience with Python, scripting, or automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern software development practices
• Experience with build systems such as CMake or Bazel
• Projects involving robotics, autonomous systems, or embedded software
