What you will do

• Manage performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform, ensuring SLA, SLO, RPO, and RTO compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and manage observability solutions using Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Prometheus.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Chef.
• Perform comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for outages and implement systemic improvements.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to and resolve production incidents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including deep knowledge of AWS networking concepts.
• Advanced Linux skills covering engineering fundamentals, networking, storage, and operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Chef for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Expert-level troubleshooting, diagnostic skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during outages.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and large distributed microservices architectures.
