What you will do
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints via live chat professionally and promptly in German.
- Resolve issues with empathy and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent the brand voice accurately across all written interactions.
- Identify recurring issues or patterns and flag them to the wider team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues end-to-end.
Requirements
- Native or near-native German proficiency is a firm requirement.
- Excellent written German skills with a clear, warm, and professional tone.
- Prior experience in an ecommerce environment.
- Background in customer-facing communication (chat, email, or phone).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult interactions professionally.
- Must be based in South Africa, Namibia, Romania, or Turkey.
- Availability to work primarily weekends with flexibility for non-standard weekday hours.
