Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Milford, Michigan (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Build, debug, and execute advanced 1D Amesim models to influence engineering design decisions.
• Partner with the NVH community to deliver propulsion system load cases and plant models.
• Lead the shift toward virtualization by reducing reliance on physical hardware testing.
• Collaborate across Advanced, Program, Design Release, and Controls teams to drive integrated solutions.
• Develop and enhance standard work practices to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Provide technical mentorship and direction to elevate team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 1D Amesim simulations.
• Extensive knowledge in Structural Dynamics as it pertains to NVH.
• Understanding of ICE, PHEV, and BEV vehicle systems and integration.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours for overseas collaboration.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Noise & Vibration.
• Strong programming capability in MATLAB or Python.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in AI/ML applications for engineering efficiency.
• Experience in Controls/Calibrations and hands-on vehicle or lab testing.
• Fluency in Co-simulation using function mock up unit (FMU).
