What you will do

• Ship testable, readable, and maintainable code iteratively within a production environment.
• Design and implement technical solutions focusing on scale, security, performance, and privacy.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide the team on best practices for integrating AI into development workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead code reviews, share knowledge via documentation, and optimize engineering processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong production experience with Python and Django.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries and designing relational data models.
• Experience using agentic development workflows.
• Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog.
• Ability to refactor complex production systems without impacting customer experience.
• Excellent written communication skills.
