What you will do

• Drive growth of the regional portfolio in collaboration with the trade credit team and head of business development.
• Manage the credit approval process for new business submissions and existing clients.
• Perform detailed financial analysis of broker submissions and present them for committee review.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and banking clients and broker networks.
• Negotiate policy terms and conditions and market the brand to brokers and insureds.
• Support the division in achieving portfolio growth, client retention, and loss ratio targets.

Requirements

• Experience in the credit insurance and political risk industry with a proven track record.
• Strong background in risk underwriting and financial analysis across various countries and trade sectors.
• Expertise in trade and export finance risk assessment, including single situation credit and whole turnover XOL business.
• Knowledge of country risk and insolvency legislation in major trading economies.
• Proficiency with analytical tools such as Fitch, Moody’s, S&P, Bloomberg, or Capital IQ.
• Openness to using AI technology as a supporting underwriting tool.
