What you will do

• Own and drive full P&L performance, focusing on revenue growth and margin improvement across the portfolio.
• Lead the transition to a product-driven operating model, ensuring product investments translate into measurable commercial outcomes.
• Champion AI-first thinking across product development, operational efficiency, and commercial decision-making.
• Manage the senior leadership team, including the recruitment of a permanent CRO.
• Maintain executive accountability for the FCA regulatory and compliance framework.
• Represent the business to the Group with transparency, commercial rigour, and strategic clarity.

Requirements

• Current or recent MD/CEO experience in a SaaS or payments business.
• Deep domain expertise in Direct Debit and Bacs is a hard requirement.
• Proven experience operating in or alongside FCA-regulated businesses.
• Demonstrated success in delivering growth and margin improvement simultaneously.
• Ability to lead through in-flight change without losing operational momentum.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in card payments or open banking.
• Proven track record of navigating transitions from commercially-led to product-driven models.
