What you will do

• Investigate and evaluate Florida workers’ compensation claims to determine compensability and total claim value.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves in accordance with company philosophy and state guidelines.
• Coordinate with defense counsel on litigated claims and assist in developing litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with nurse case managers to monitor medical treatment and authorize services.
• Ensure accurate documentation, state-required filings, and EDI reporting within strict timelines.
• Pursue subrogation opportunities and protect Medicare interests throughout the claim lifecycle.

Requirements

• Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License or Florida Workers’ Compensation License required.
• Proven experience handling workers’ compensation claims, including lost time and litigated files.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Workers’ Compensation statutes and case law.
• Experience with depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
