What you will do

• Manage a caseload of residential and commercial property claims from assignment to closure.
• Conduct onsite inspections to assess damage through photographs, measurements, and detailed documentation.
• Perform coverage analysis and determine compensability based on policy language.
• Prepare and review repair estimates using industry-standard platforms.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, contractors, and legal representatives.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers, and mitigation providers to resolve claims efficiently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of property claims adjusting experience.
• Active adjuster license(s) as required by jurisdiction.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Xactimate preferred) and claims management systems.
• Expertise in handling large-loss, complex, or litigated claims.
• Ability to perform physical inspections, including climbing ladders and walking uneven terrain.
• Strong investigation, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Xactimate certification.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior adjusters.
