What you will do

• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and MTA TIG Claims Management.
• Supervise and manage all assigned TPA claims staff, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure consistent compliance with MTA/TIG Claims Manual policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Coordinate with defense counsel to provide investigative documentation and assist with litigation strategy.
• Provide enhanced oversight for high-exposure, sensitive, or serious accident claims.
• Conduct training for staff on claims management systems and internal tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 8 years of claims experience, specifically in general liability, automobile liability, and bodily injury.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Maryland Motor Vehicle Regulations and Maryland tort and negligence law.
• Proven experience with litigation management and defense strategy.
• Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD.
