TL;DR

Location: Fully remote, but focused on the North West region (UK)

What you will do

  • Produce high-quality technical reports and provide precise vehicle valuations.
  • Assess, value, and negotiate repair costs and total loss settlements.
  • Manage claims for a wide scope of vehicles, including cars, HGVs, agricultural implements, and caravans.
  • Liaise with field planning teams, repairers, and customers to resolve claims.
  • Ensure all reporting timescales and instructions remain within agreed SLAs.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive and high-performing engineering function.

Requirements

  • Qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard.
  • Hands-on experience leading or supporting an engineering function within an insurer or independent technical firm.
  • Solid experience using industry-standard estimating systems, specifically Audatex and Glassmatix.
  • Must be based in the UK to align with regional operational requirements and benefits.

Nice to have

  • AQP qualification.
