What you will do

• Manage a diverse portfolio of subsidence claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely settlement.
• Coordinate investigations with third-party specialists, including arboricultural consultants, site investigators, and drainage repair teams.
• Review and audit surveyor reports to ensure technical quality and accuracy.
• Create detailed building repair schedules using the in-house schedule of rates.
• Liaise between clients, policyholders, local authorities, and internal teams to coordinate solutions.
• Maintain precise records within the company's claims management system.

Requirements

• Professional building qualification (MICE, MRICS, MCIOB, MIStrucE, MCABE) or currently progressing towards one.
• Detailed knowledge of structural defects affecting buildings and subsidence engineering.
• Ability to diagnose the cause of damage remotely based on information collected by others.
• Experience in the insurance industry and a strong understanding of insurance liability.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
