Salary: $179,200 - $268,800 USD

What you will do

• Build monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform health and enable fast remediation of issues.
• Debug complex stack-wide issues and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Design and implement platform components to increase efficiency for internal customers.
• Develop Kubernetes controllers to automate operational tasks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and lead blameless postmortems for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, Robotics, or related field with 4+ years of experience (or advanced degree with 2+ years).
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and storage subsystems.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for production-grade software development.
• Experience scaling and securing services in AWS, GCP, or cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Kubernetes Controllers in Go.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Loki, Jaeger, or Tempo.
• Ability to define and adhere to SLOs to increase service reliability.
