What you will do

  • Diagnose and research complex customer issues remotely and onsite to ensure timely restoration of system operation.
  • Perform emergency repairs, planned maintenance, installations, and decommissioning of AV and Cinema systems.
  • Execute technical activities under supervision, making problem-solving decisions within established procedures.
  • Support the setup and build for pre-shows, demos, tradeshows, and live events.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed in accordance with Christie SOP and computer systems.
  • Provide product and technical system training to customers to ensure effective operation of AV systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven work experience in a technical customer service role within the AV industry or a related field.
  • Minimum Technical/Electrical Degree or a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV equipment at the board level using software, error logs, and service manuals.
  • Knowledge of Audio Signal Processing and Audio I/O Implementation.
  • Flexibility to work onsite on a permanent basis.
  • Willingness to travel more than 80% of the working time.
