What you will do

• Devise and implement sourcing strategies for custom silicon components such as SoCs and Sensors for wearable electronics.
• Act as the central commercial owner aligning technical requirements with supply chain strategy across hardware, software, and firmware teams.
• Lead RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and cost modeling while running structured business reviews.
• Secure reliable component supply and locked-in commercial terms for both NPI programs and mass production.
• Monitor global silicon market dynamics, technology trends, and geopolitical risks to develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in EE or custom silicon strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Experience working with Tier-1 silicon suppliers and OSAT partners across Asia and North America.
• Background in high-volume consumer electronics and CM/ODM/JDM manufacturing models.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally.
