What you will do

• Influence design and operational decisions to ensure the overall stability of gaming services.
• Maintain full ownership of production, focusing on code quality and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate across the software development lifecycle to ensure operational readiness and stability.
• Manage and optimize large-scale Linux-based web services infrastructure.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to maintain service reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Software Development or Linux Systems Administration.
• Proficiency as a Linux Production Systems Engineer with experience in large-scale infrastructure.
• Development experience in Python (preferred), Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed data storage (Hadoop, Ceph) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
• Knowledge of data aggregation technologies such as ElasticSearch or Kafka.
• Experience scaling RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with High Availability.
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting toolsets like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS deployment and management.
• Skills in configuration management using Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience in software performance analysis and load testing (QA or SDET).
