What you will do

• Develop and optimize real-time technology for a distributed SQL database.
• Implement cutting-edge features such as LLM support and vector indexing.
• Improve cluster fault tolerance and accelerate SQL query performance using SIMD and LLVM codeGen.
• Design and write search and costing modules for the query optimizer.
• Own projects end-to-end throughout the product life cycle, from writing to testing and production deployment.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong programming skills with C++ or C.
• Deep understanding of operating systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures.
• Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Location: Must be based in Portugal.
