Maintenance Technician (Medtech)

What you will do

• Execute preventative maintenance and calibration programs for production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document work performed on electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Administer and maintain a spare parts program to ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to install and validate equipment (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ).
• Maintain precise equipment documentation (Device Master Equipment Files) and event records.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve operational problems and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Austin, Texas (min 90% presence).
• High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's or technical trade certificate preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience working within an FDA regulated environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and assembly drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience with basic machine tools and fixturing (mill, lathe, etc.).
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations.
• Experience with fluid handling and chemical/analytical equipment.
