What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust API testing frameworks using Python and Pytest.
• Update and fix existing API tests to align with backend changes and maintain Postman requests.
• Implement automated tests for new features and enhance overall testing coverage from the ground up.
• Collaborate in Agile planning meetings to prioritize automation improvements and identify test coverage.
• Utilize tools like Datadog, Mailosaur, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines for project maintenance.
• Engineer complex SQL scripts and leverage agentic AI to optimize automation tests.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in QA testing.
• 3+ years of experience in API Test Automation Engineering with hands-on framework creation.
• Proficiency in Python (3-5+ years) or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues.
• Location: Must be based in South Jordan, UT for a hybrid schedule (M, W, F in-office)

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile environments or familiarity with data warehousing and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of AWS cloud platforms.
