TL;DR

What you will do
- Develop new user-facing features in the Android app using Kotlin.
- Maintain and optimize 3rd party library integrations, specifically Braze and Mparticle.
- Write high-quality code and tests, and conduct prompt pull request reviews.
- Contribute to Android team architecture and code standard discussions.
- Use data analysis to identify and implement new growth experiments.
- Integrate AI tools as a repeatable co-pilot in daily development workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of professional focus on Android development (Kotlin and/or Java).
- Experience with gRPC, GraphQL, and/or REST APIs.
- Proficiency in GIT, particularly with rebasing.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Ability to travel bi-annually for multiple days to corporate offices or strategic locations.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with subscription-based in-app purchases.
- Knowledge of modern Android libraries such as Jetpack Compose, Flows, and Coroutines.
- Experience with analytics and client events (Braze, Kochava, Mparticle, Split).
- Interest in Consumer Psychology or Behavioral Economics.
