What you will do

• Own frontend development for internal developer tools from design through launch and maintenance.
• Build scalable interfaces for both AI-powered workflows and core engineering systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand developer pain points and prototype effective solutions.
• Lead high-impact projects by writing code, reviewing designs, and aligning stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and help shape the roadmap for developer experience improvements.
• Improve team processes and best practices for quality, usability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on frontend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and component-based frameworks like React or Lit.
• Experience building end-to-end web applications at scale including API integrations and system design.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered developer tools in your own engineering practice.
• Proven track record of leading large, ambiguous projects with cross-team collaboration.
• Must be based in the US and able to work in a fully remote environment.

• Experience in developer experience, productivity, or internal platform engineering.
• Experience conducting user discovery and feedback sessions with technical users.
• Familiarity with backend-adjacent technologies such as GraphQL, REST, or Go.
